Clean It Up!
Coal ash on the big slope that faces the creek. That is all coal ash — and all that separates it from the creek are a couple of polyester silt fences.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
Please click here to email all the Chapel Hill Town Council members and ask them to clean up the coal ash in order to protect our community, the Bolin Creek habitat, and the regional water supply by removing the eroding steep slope of coal ash above Bolin Creek, as well as other areas of exposed coal ash and contaminated soil.
